Bonnie & Clyde is a 2013 miniseries about Great Depression-era outlaws Bonnie and Clyde starring Emile Hirsch (Into The Wild as Clyde Barrow and Holliday Grainger (The Borgias) as Bonnie Parker. Cast also includes include Sarah Hyland (Modern Family), Lane Garrison (Prison Break), Elizabeth Reaser (The Twilight Saga), Austin Hebert (True Blood) and Dale Dickey (Winter’s Bone). The miniseries is produced by Sony Pictures Television and executive produced by Craig Zadan and Neil Meron. John Rice and Joe Batteer penned the script and Oscar-nominated Bruce Beresford (Driving Miss Daisy, Tender Mercies, Breaker Morant) directed.

 

The two-part film aired on back-to-back nights, December 8 and 9, 2013, simultaneously on A&EHistory, and Lifetime (all owned by A&E Networks).

Part 1 of Bonnie & Clyde delivered 9.8 million total viewers simulcast on three networks. This is cable's best miniseries opening in ratings since 2006's Broken Trail, outside of History's Hatfields & McCoys and The Bible.[3] A&E Networks closed out its two-part miniseries with 7.4 million viewers.
