Tech for Actors

Tech for Actors is unique to DDA and was created to help actors cope with the new set of skills all actors have to now know. Self Taping sounds fun and less stressful than going in for an audition, but there are a handful of pitfalls that can jam you up. Good acting, good video, good audio are only pieces of the task. CDs sometimes ask for tapes to be turned in using certain extensions or codecs. Slates and scenes may have specific naming structures too. Check out DDA’s Tech for Actors to make sure your work gets delivered as expected so you get booked. You will also get DDA’s taping form to help you out.
